Trasna’s new factory in Brazil could be operational by early 2026

This was confirmed to Convergencialatina by Gabriel Poggio, the company’s director for Latin America and Iberia, which specializes in IoT, SIM/eSIM and connectivity solutions.

Trasna, a company with about 30 years of existence, has its headquarters in Ireland, while its IoT Center of Excellence is located in France and its cellular module centers are in Italy and Switzerland. As for its SIM factories, in addition to Dubai and Bosnia, a new one is expected to open soon in Brazil. Machinery is currently being installed at this new facility. “We control the entire SIM cycle, from chip design to manufacturing and packaging,” explained Gabriel Poggio, the company’s director for Latin America and Iberia.
