The EU Council has adopted an amendment to the Regulation governing the activities of EuroHPC, the European High Performance Computing Joint Undertaking, expanding its objectives to facilitate the creation of artificial intelligence gigafactories in Europe and to include a dedicated pillar for quantum technologies.
