Globally, Gartner predicts that by 2026 more than 80% of companies will have used Generative AI APIs or deployed Gen AI-enabled applications in production environments, up from less than 5% in 2023. The consultancy notes that this level of adoption means AI is no longer limited to isolated experiments but has become part of organizations’ operational core.
