Grupo K presents its seven-year technological transformation plan

In 2018, this group of companies in Honduras decided to pursue this transition alongside its own expansion, driven by acquisitions. As Carlos Quiroz, corporate technology director, explained, each company within the conglomerate operated independently, with local servers and no shared strategy.

Grupo K is a family-owned company, 70 years old and originally from Honduras. It operates more than 30 companies across the dairy, energy, and retail industries, among others, and has a presence in nine Latin American countries (Bolivia, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, United States, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama). During LINKS 2026 in Playa del Carmen, it presented its work with Liberty Networks on its digital transformation journey, which began seven years ago.
