Government aim to reach 20% penetration of FTTH will require a private investment of more than US$1.050 billion in three years. That increase should be enough as a convincing argument to invest in fiber networks to the home, in order to provide ultra-broadband connections in line with these needs and market demands, said Ariel Graizer, President of the Cámara Argentina de Internet (Cabase) (Argentine Internet Chamber). That, apart from other drivers such as the deployment of 4G and the future evolution to 5G and the growing takeoff of businesses linked to IoT.
