Cantv supplies voice service, IP connection and data to UBV

The company Cantv interconnected the offices of Ocumare del Tuy, Ciudad Bolívar and Maturín, from the Universidad Bolivariana de Venezuela (UBV). Thus the internal communications of the UBV with voice services, IP connection and data will reach more than 13,000 students and more than 500 professors working in the institution.

Two devices Telinbus were installed to implement Frame Relay links of 2,084 kbps at main office; of 1,024 kbps in the Maturín office and of 512 kbps for Ocumare del Tuy and Ciudad Bolívar.

In the future it is expected to interconnect other offices and to migrate current technology service Frame Relay to Netro Ethernet.
