Syniverse provides platform for CSC in the region

With the recent launch of the common short code (CSC) initiative for Latin America, companies and brands now have the possibility of reaching more than 500 million mobile phones users throughout the region. This is explained by the use of an effective and wide-scope means of communication: the short text (SMS). This new initiative, designed and managed by CTIA-The Wireless Association, uses Syniverse Technologies as registration platform based on the Web, which is fully supported by the technology of main mobile operators of the region.

Today, the system is accepting requests to register CSC (standard and customized) capable of connecting owners of registers with almost all mobile subscribers in more than twenty Latin American countries.
