A CEO for Arsat: Eduardo Atilio Hurtado

Until last week, Hurtado occupied the presidency of Ecogas (Distribuidora de Gas Cuyana and Distribuidora de Gas del Centro). He is 73 years old and his landing in the satellite company would be a decision of the Minister of State Modernization, Andrés Ibarra. Arsat's board will continue with Raúl Martínez as vice president and, probably, General Manager. The directors Roberto Pérez, Henoch Aguiar and Marcelo Tesoro have also been confirmed, the latter representing the guild.

The majority shareholder of Ecogas is Sadesa (Sociedad Argentina de Energía S.A) involved in the extension of the Córdoba gas pipeline through Gas del Centro. 23% of Sadesa shares are in the hands of the family of Nicolás Caputo, a friend of President Mauricio Macri. Hurtado held important positions in companies of the Macri group.
