The General Superintendence of the CADE (Administrative Council of Economic Defense) has approved without restrictions the purchase operation of Nextel Brazil by Claro.
Its resolution states that Nextel is an eminently regional operator, with low market share compared to the other companies, and the competition has the capacity to absorb an eventual demand by virtue of any attempt of the market power exercise by Claro.
