Intel and Google expanded their partnership to drive the use of artificial intelligence-focused central processing units (CPUs) and develop custom infrastructure processors.
Under the agreement, Google will continue deploying Intel’s Xeon processors, which support a wide range of workloads, including inference and general-purpose computing. The company will also use Intel’s latest Xeon 6 chips.
