Arsat's role integrates Cabase's demands for the new government

Ariel Graizer, president of the Cabase (Argentine Chamber of Internet), expressed some of the demands to the government of Alberto Fernández. He stressed that Arsat should be positioned as a complement and not as a competitor of SMEs and demanded that it stop using Universal Service funds to compete with ISPs and build networks in unprofitable areas. He insisted on the importance of portability in fixed telephony, which is still not implemented. The statements were made during the presentation of the Cabase Internet Index in the second half of 2019.
