Cofece aims to regulate digital markets

The competition agency acknowledges that it observes the cases of other countries and allusive regulations with an eye toward local regulations that will govern the activity of companies such as Amazon and Facebook.

"It is possible to think that digital companies in Mexico are putting competitive pressure on the traditional market," said David Lamb, head of Planning, Liaison and International Affairs Unit of Cofece to El Economista.
