Claro's CEO defends Oi's purchase offer together with TIM and Vivo

Claro's president, José Félix, pointed out that the purchase of Oi by the consortium made up of Claro, TIM and Vivo, will consolidate the sector but will not reduce competition and will guarantee the continuity of the service currently provided by Oi, all of which will bring a better balance to the telecommunications sector.

During his participation in Painel Telebrasil, Félix pointed out that “it is a market solution, without any taxpayer's penny and that removes any risk in the continuity of the service. Recently, both Anatel and MCTIC were concerned with the possible discontinuity of services provided by that operator”.
