TCU creates working group to expedite 5G spectrum tender

The Tribunal de Cuentas de la Unión (TCU) (Union's Court of Auditors) created a working group to ensure the completion of the spectrum tender for 5G during the first half of this year, as announced by the Minister of Communications, Fábio Faria.

The TCU minister, Bruno Dantas, indicated that he intends to conclude the analysis of the specifications for the 5G tender within 60 days, well before the maximum legal term that the entity has, which is up to 150 days foreseen in the regulations of the TCU.

América Móvil's earnings fell 55% due to peso strength

It reached US$ 790 million in the first quarter of the year. Total revenues and Ebitda were also affected by the extraordinary income from the sale of towers, which boosted the result of a year earlier.
