The fixed broadband operator Vero announced the purchase of Giganet from Minas Gerais, with a presence in six cities in that state and around 46,000 customers served with fiber optics.
The operation, for which the amount involved has not been reported, includes some 2,200 kilometers of FTTH networks and a 120-kilometer backbone that covers 150,000 homes in Ipatinga and other cities in Minas Gerais.
