Veng seeks to resume works this year at Punta Indio Space Center for assembly of Tronador

This was announced by Marcos Actis, Chairman of the Veng Board of Directors, at the 2022 Telecommunications and ICT Perspective Conference. At the CEPI located in the Province of Buenos Aires, there will be manufacturing facilities such as a friction welder, unique in its kind in Latin America, which will allow to create the two tanks of the Tronador satellite launcher.

In the La Capetina test and launch area, near Punta Indio, Veng is preparing an engine test bench. From here the experimental vehicles VEx 1A and VEx 1B were launched in 2014, and in 2017 the VEx 5A.
