Capacity Latam 2023

Elea Digital has invested more than US$300 million since its landing in Brazilian data center sector

The company established itself in the local market after the acquisition of five data centers from Oi, one from Globo and one from TIM. Of the total seven establishments, two are in Brasilia, two in Porto Alegre, one in São Paulo and one in Rio de Janeiro.

The CEO of Elea Digital, Alessandro Lombardi, spoke with Convergencialatina on his way through Capacity Latam 2023. He confided that they are studying landing in new markets in Latin America, such as Argentina and Colombia. “We want to make a platform of interconnected data centers,” he described. The purchase of telco data centers in the mentioned countries is not ruled out for this, as it happened in Brazil.
