Entel activates the Solidarity Connectivity Plan for those affected in the Valparaíso region

As part of its "Entel First Response" program to support emergency situations and aid those affected by the fires in the Valparaíso Region, the technology and telecommunications company activated the Entel Solidarity Connectivity Plan, similar to what it offered during the pandemic and the 2023 fires, which is now available at no cost to customers with active lines living in the affected areas.

Subscription customers who request the benefit will receive free gigabytes, 300 minutes for calls, and 50 SMS per month, while prepaid customers will also receive free gigabytes and 300 SMS per month. Meanwhile, Internet home service customers will have up to 2Mbps of download speed at no cost during the validity of the Solidarity Plan, and those with fixed telephone services will have 300 minutes to mobile and landline phones per month.

Both the mobile and home versions will have a validity period of 90 days. This benefit can be requested until March 31, 2024.

Entel also reported that less than a week after the disaster, 98% of its network is operating normally in the Valparaíso Region.

The operator highlighted that in this region, the service of 1,200 accounts with debts was restored, and it is also providing bags of minutes and additional browsing gigs to another 121,000 prepaid customers.
