Through its Movistar brand, Integratel has begun deploying 4G technology in 106 vulnerable communities across 17 regions of the country as part of its commitments with the Ministry of Transport and Communications, under the 2025 Coverage Canon program
The operator provided this information from the hamlet of Durán, located in the district of Lancones, Piura, where it inaugurated a 4G base station that connects more than 500 residents and surrounding localities.
The inauguration ceremony included the participation of Osiptel President Jesús Guillén via a connection from Lima, during which the new connectivity was tested, and an interaction with Integratel Perú CEO Ariel Palumbo from Durán.
