iPlan Networks annual turnover to total US$ 16.8 million

Late this year, the company may almost two fold revenues compared to the US$ 9.6 million posted in 2002, to reach 4,000 clients, most of which come from the SMEs segment (only around 300 are wholesale agents and big firms). According to Pablo Saubidet, General Manager of the firm, “we are incumbents among SMEs”. iPlan expects to enter residential telephony markets in 2004, and venture in “know how” transfer on the implementation of IP technology for carriers in Latin America.

5G contracts progress as ICE raises additional concerns

The Comptroller’s Office has given the green light to the contracts signed by the six operators (two national and four regional) to begin the deployment of 5G. The state-owned ICE plans to take legal action if Sutel does not approve its agreement with Racsa to provide fifth-generation mobile phone service.
