Vivo tries Kodiak PTT solutions

The firm owned by Portugal Telecom and Telefonica Moviles is to try “push-to- talk” (PTT) gear provided by Kodiak Networks. Luiz Avelar, VP of Marketing and Innovation in Vivo, asserted they are trying Kodiak solutions, as well as those from other five makers. Kodiak, based in California (USA) has recently arrived in the country with PTT, both for CDMA and GSM networks. For the firm, the US Alltel and the French Orange have already adopted its solutions.
