Grupo TCM offers GPS-based car-tracking

Grupo TCM, together with Van Alston, created the new unit TCM Teck Knowledge so as to offer car-tracking services countrywide, through satellite technology GPS. The new local system, to be called Drive Tron, will cost some US$ 1.100 for the corporate segment (including gear deployment and services for a year) in the first year and, in a second stage, rates will be around US$ 320 a year. In turn, residential packs will be subject to the needs of each client and will cost some US$ 785 a year. Kirk Waithe, Director of the TCM Group, indicated the initiative would aim at developing satellite technology in Trinidad and Tobago.

TCM Group is made up of TCM Caribe, TCM Fleet Management Services, TCM Lease & Rentals, TCM Transport Services and TCM Road Side Assistance Services.
