Digitel TIM will trade the new Samsung D500 and X480 handsets

The new Samsung handsets that will be traded by the operator of Telecom Italia in Venezuela integrate design, connectivity functions and polyphonic sounds, informed the local newspaper Cadena Gobal. The D500 model has digital camera 1.3, Bluetooth technology and MMS, Java, Wap 2.0 functions. David Erard, manager of telecommunications of Samsung, foresees that the D500 equipment of three bands will have a good reception among GSM customers of Digitel. The X480 model, on the other hand, has an "emoticon box" that allows to send messages with gesture icons, polyphonic sounds to be composed from the keyboard, among other functions. According to the marketing vice-president of Digitel TIM, Roberto Quattrini, the company is looking for constant technological innovations.
