Diana María Gómez Mejía was appointed to take over EPM Bogota's presidency, after the resignation of Fernando Panesso Serna. Until now, Gómez Mejía has been serving as Legal and Regulating vice-president of the subsidiary of Empresas Públicas de Medellín (EPM) in the capital city of the country. Moreover, the company's board of directors approved a costs and expenses general budget for US$ 30.3 million and an investment budget for US$ 20.2 million for 2006.
