Airlink Mobile joins Brightstar to launch MVNO wireless service in United States

Airlink Mobile, provider of added value prepaid wireless services, long distance prepaid cards, and accessories for cell phones, announced its alliance with Brightstar, wireless distribution and management company of the greatest supply network of the world, as logistics partner to provide support to its wireless service in United States.

Airlink Mobile wireless service will provide mobile devices and added value wireless prepaid air time at low cost for users in the whole country. On the other hand, Brightstar will provide Airlink Mobile with full logistics services to provide support for its service, including products and purchase strategy, stock management and warehouses, equipment and packs customization, delivery to single outlets and inverse logistics solutions.

Millicom improves net income with infrastructure asset sale

Net profit was US$676 million, driven by the sale of infrastructure to SBA. Total revenue amounted to US$1.37 billion, a 5.9% decrease compared to the second quarter of 2024. Mobile customers totaled 41.8 million, representing a 2.8% year-on-year growth.

Sharp decline in Liberty Latin America's results
