The triumph of center-left Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) in the presidential elections in Mexico will not mean a sudden change in the political and economic direction of the country. After two frustrated attempts in 2006 and 2012, the former mayor of Mexico City won the elections with a moderate proposal.
