Spectrum plan opens the expectation on bands for 5G

The initiative foresees the cleaning and rearrangement of bands in order to provide more spectrum to deploy 5G. Among priority actions will be the study of bands such as 2.3 GHz and 3.5 GHz.

The plan was anticipated by the TIC secretary, Héctor Huici, during The Mobile Revolution 2018 organized in June by Grupo Convergencia. The objective is to allow new tenders to be made periodically during the next five years in response to the growth in demand, as well as design the management of a secondary market and prepare regional tenders.
