Mark Dankberg, CEO of Viasat, announced at the Latin American Satellite Congress that the company will open an office in Brasilia and new facilities in São Paulo, to begin providing new connectivity services at the residential level by the end of the year. In addition, they expect to carry additional satellite capacity with their constellation Viasat3, consisting of 3 high capacity satellites. The first satellite of the fleet will be launched early 2021.
