The American company is building the establishment 21 kilometers from Santiago de Chile: it is the second EdgeConnex data center in Latin America, after the one created in 2019 in Buenos Aires (in the Parque Industria del Pilar). It will have an initial design capacity of 3.5 MW, although it can be increased to 7 MW. Phillip Marangella, CMO of the firm, told Convergencialatina that the demand for services in Chile for this future data center has been so robust that they are already thinking about expansion, even before the inauguration.
