Millicom's revenue in Latam fell 3.7% in Q3

In Latin America, revenues from services in the third quarter were US$ 1.318 billion, a decrease of 4.7% due to the impact of COVID-19 and the conversion of currencies of Colombia and Paraguay. The operator reached 39.5 million mobile users, which contribute 60% of its revenues from services in the region.

In Latin America, revenues in the third quarter were US$ 1.445 billion, when in that same period of 2019 reached around US$ 1.5 billion and the operator's service income fell 4.7% year-on-year and reached US$ 1.318 billion in that period, although they improved compared to the US$ 1.27 billion in the second quarter, driven by an improvement in mobile telephony in the prepaid segment in all countries.
