President Alberto Fernández took advantage of the Opening of Congress’ Ordinary Sessions, on March 1, to give a new impulse to the Connect Equality program, launched in 2010 during the first government of Cristina Fernández, and deactivated in 2018 by the Cambiemos administration. He highlighted that this year they will distribute 600,000 computers to high school students and teachers throughout the country, and noted that another bidding process is underway to buy an additional million computers, also in 2022.
