Telefónica records revenue growth thanks to its operations in Brazil and the region

It added €10.883 billion in the first quarter. The American operations were the ones that rose the most and represented more than 37% of the turnover. The profit was €706 million. Strong increase, of 20%, in the FTTH customer base and in contracts for mobile accesses, of 4.3%. Telefónica Tech generated almost €300 million in the quarter.

Telefónica's revenues grew by 3.2% in the first quarter of 2022 compared to the same period of 2021, driven by the increase in billing in all the markets in which it operates, together with the greater efficiencies achieved thanks to the new operating model and the favorable behavior of the exchange rates, informed the company.
