Brazil is facing a crossroads of two country models.

On October 2, the population will have to choose between the return of Lula da Silva to the presidency or the continuity of Jair Bolsonaro, each with different visions about the future of the nation and especially in the technological aspect. Lula leads the polls of voting intentions, but would not be enough to win in the first round, while the current president has closed the gap, but is 10 percentage points behind.

On October 2, new elections for president, governors and legislative representatives will be held in Brazil, and although 12 candidacies have been registered before the Superior Electoral Court, the possibility of accessing the highest executive office will be decided between two exclusive candidates: the current president, Jair Bolsonaro, for the Liberal Party (PL), and former president Ignacio "Lula" da Silva, for the Workers' Party (PT).
