Gustavo Villate has taken office as the new Minister of Information and Communication Technologies (Mitic). During the inauguration ceremony, he emphasized that, in terms of technology, the priority will be to equip state institutions with tools and enhance management in key areas such as healthcare, education, and security. These are vital for one of President Santiago Peña's objectives to generate 500,000 new jobs, he added.
