Interview with Antonio García Zaballos

"Without a national connectivity plan, digital agendas run in the void"

Antonio García Zaballos is a principal specialist in telecommunications at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), where he is also the leader of the broadband initiative. He warns that many countries in the region lack a map to guide telecommunications initiatives to close the digital divide. And he points out that the bank is analyzing different investment instruments to support both the public and private sectors in the development of digital infrastructure.
