Autonomous networks as goal of Cloudification

The implementation involves bringing the benefits of migrating workloads to the cloud to the Core of the network, the RAN, the OSS/BSS, and the antennas. In this approach, apps are built as a collection of independently and flexibly coupled services.

The evolution of mobile networks is marked by the implementation of Cloud-Native network functions, in a process known as Cloudification. It consists of the possibility of designing and executing software in cloud infrastructure, both private and public, an instance that becomes imperative to deal with the growth of traffic and the variety of services associated with 5G.
