EU takes two key steps in AI: adopted a regulation and created a central office

The regulation links the regulation with previous rules, especially the General Data Protection Regulation. it lays down precise provisions for the processing of data in the field of artificial intelligence.

The European Union took two crucial steps this week in monitoring artificial intelligence. On one hand, it agreed upon and published what will be the final draft of the future Artificial Intelligence Regulation. On the other hand, it outlined the creation of a central European office that will carry out actions related to AI.
