Antel Open Digital Lab prepares new “Challenge” for last quarter of 2024, focused on Edge Computing, IOT and AR/XR

Last week the first challenge was announced, together with Google Cloud. The technological development hub is a joint work of Antel, the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mining, Uruguay Innovation Hub, ANII, CUTI and LATU.

In alliance with Grupo Ras, Conaprole, SINAE and ACCESA, by the end of May, the IA Tech Challenge 2024, organized by the Antel Open Digital Lab together with Google Cloud was disclosed. This laboratory is coordinated by ITC, a consulting company of the Uruguayan state-owned company, and allows companies in the technology industry and the productive sector to test solutions and technology in a controlled environment on a small scale, prior to their large-scale implementation.
