Sturzenegger appointed Minister of Deregulation and Transformation of the State

The official appointment was made through Decree 586/2024 of the Chief of Staff, signed by President Javier Milei and Guillermo Francos and published this Friday. Its powers include everything related to the modernization of public management with the aim of reducing fiscal spending.

At the same time, Decree 585/2024 of the Executive Branch establishes a new modification of the Law of Ministries. “In order to adapt the organization of the National Public Administration in accordance with the process of reducing public spending and increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the organizations included, it is necessary to create the Ministry of Deregulation and Transformation of the State and make modifications to the powers vested in the Head of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Human Capital,” explains the regulations.
