Competition for 5G Advanced heats up

Huawei carried out the commercial launch of its Apollo platform, with the 3GPP Release 18 standards. Nokia has already defined its lines of action and Ericsson launched a pilot test with the Saudi operator STC.

After the recent definition of 3GPP Release 18, with the standards for 5G Advanced, it was the starting signal for announcements by providers of initiatives with a view to positioning themselves in the mobile market. Both providers and operators see 5G A as a source of income that improves their balance sheets.
