Donald Trump wins US presidency and new era for ICT begins

The Republican will have majority in both houses of Congress and majority of allied governors. A less interventionist federal policy in the big tech markets, and a greater defense of its interests in other markets - Europe and China - and in international forums, such as the ITU is expected.

Republican leader Donald Trump, 78, was elected president of the United States in a vote that included a large majority in both chambers of the US Congress and the majority of state governorships at stake.
