The use of data is generating “smart and tailored tourism” in certain places in Argentina that are pioneers in the field. Martina Gelardi, head of Strategic Planning at Emprotur Bariloche, in the Province of Río Negro, explained in Redes de Gobierno 2024 (Government Networks 2024), the process that led them to modify and improve proposals, based on data collection in principle. The organization analyzed all the tourist products with their comments and public ratings on these platforms through publications on Google and TripAdvisor. They grouped them according to the number of comments and the type of rating and that allowed them to see how they approached the development of each tourist product for its promotion.
