MTC submits requirements to participate in spectrum tender in 3.5 GHz band.

The process seeks to improve connectivity in a number of unserved towns and on unserved routes. Each operator will be eligible to bid for four consecutive blocks of 25 MHz each. Each 100 MHz was priced at US$126.5 million. The bidding process will determine the investment commitments of each interested operator.

The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) launched a call for bids for up to 500 MHz in the 3.5 GHz band to strengthen 4G mobile service and boost 5G deployment.
