Presidential elections in Costa Rica: Three leading candidates with three different digital agendas

The elections will be held next Sunday, February 1st. Laura Fernández Delgado, of the Sovereign People's Party, leads the polls by a wide margin, to the point that she could win the presidency without a runoff.

On Sunday, February 1, presidential elections will be held, and an estimated 3.7 million Costa Ricans are expected to cast their votes. While polls vary, all indications point to Laura Fernández Delgado winning the first round, and some surveys already suggest she could do so by such a margin that she would be declared president without the need for a runoff.
