Vivo bets on becoming a digital services hub

Vivo president Christian Gebara said partnerships are at the core of the company's strategy to transform itself into a digital services hub.

In an interview with Teletime, Gebara pointed out that the models under development open up the possibility of creating new business units that can take on a life of their own.

However, he also pointed out that this strategy faces competitive challenges with other sectors that are also betting on the digital marketplace model, which is where Vivo intends to stand out.
