Telmex to offer integrated hosting services in seven countries

Telmex will offer integrated hosting and e-mail services in the United States, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Columbia, Chile and Peru. The company will expand the infrastructure of Triara, its data center subsidiary, which currently has more than 200 private and public corporate clients, 25,000 hosting clients and 250,000 corporate e-mail accounts. Moreover, Telmex has started up a new multiservice functional network (MPLS) based on IP, which will allow it to have a private network to link its data centers. The data center a Triara, located in the Mexican city of Monterey, has more than 5,000 square meters occupied with Hewlett Packard servers and it will expand the capacity to 10,000 square meters in 2008.
