Winners and losers of the semiconductor crisis

The Taiwanese company TSMC and the American Intel represent the two trends based on their commercial commitments: on the one hand, towards a new 5-nanometer technology and, on the other, to sustain old developments with a guaranteed market. According to analysts, after the volatility until 2024, the sector will grow up to an accummulated annual rate of 8%.

In the semiconductor crisis, winners and losers are beginning to be defined within the industry itself. Two cases that represent these trends are the Taiwanese TSMC and the American Intel. And whoever emerges as the winner of this stage will be in the best position to reign in the next one, characterized by strong earnings growth on the back of a robust demand, until 2030 at least.
