Millicom acquisitions drive 45% revenue growth

Revenue rounded out at US$2 billion in the first quarter of 2026. Mobile customers reached 57.3 million, a 37.8% increase compared with a year earlier.

Millicom’s revenues grew 45.1% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2026, mainly driven by the acquisition of Coltel in Colombia, as well as the operator’s expansion in the Ecuador and Uruguay markets. In all these cases, growth was also supported by the acquisition of Telefónica assets throughout 2025.
